IIM CAT Admission 2024 Qualification
- The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD).
- Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree / equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply

IIM CAT Admission 2024 : Test Center
- CAT will be conducted in test centers spread across around 170 test cities. Candidates will be given the option to select any five test cities in order of their preference.
- The list of cities may be subject to changes based on the discretion of the CAT authorities.
- Test cities will be mentioned in the CAT website and the name of the test center will be indicated in the Admit Card. That will be issues before Exam.

Admission Process
- Please note that each IIM is independent to mandate their own eligibility criteria (including academic cut offs and relative weights) and follow different selection processes.
- Performance in the CAT 2024 examination is an important component for consideration in the selection process.
- IIMs may also use the previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience and other similar inputs in short-listing of candidates at various stages of the selection process.

CAT 2024 Results and Shortlisting
- Information related to the CAT 2024 results will be tentatively available starting from the January 2025 on this website.
- The list of candidates shortlisted for the next level of selection will be made available on the website of the respective IIMs.
- Each IIM will send interview letters to the shortlisted candidates directly. So Kindly provide valid Phone No. and E-Mail id.
- The criteria for shortlisting vary across all over IIMs.

Normalization of CAT Scores in 2024
- CAT 2024 shall be conducted in three sessions. Three different Test Forms shall be administered in three Test Sessions.
- In order to ensure fairness and equity in comparison of performances of candidates across different test sessions, the scores of candidates shall be subjected to a process of Normalization.
- The Normalization process shall adjust for location and scale differences of score distributions across different forms.
- After normalization across different forms, the scores shall be further normalized across different sections.
- The Scaled Scores obtained by this process shall be converted into percentiles for purposes of shortlisting.
- For reporting purposes, Scaled Scores for each section (Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Section III: Quantitative Ability (QA)) and Total along with the Percentiles shall be published.

How to Fill IIM CAT Admission Form 2024?
- The application for online registration will be hosted on the IBPS website from 01 Aug 2024.
- Applications will be received online only.
- Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
- Phone Number and E-mail ID of the applicant is to be given in the application compulsorily.
- Candidates must check all necessary details and block carefully and printout final submission of form for future reference.
- The last date for submitting online application is 13 Sept. 2024.
